Take a photo of a plant leaf. CropsAI automatically detects what diseases the leaf has and makes recommendations about how the plant should be treated.
How does CropsAI work?
The photos are analyzed by an artificial intelligence within a few seconds. First, it is checked whether a plant leaf is on the photo. Then the leaf gets tested whether it has one of the diseases which CropsAI currently supports.
Which plants supports CropsAI?
CropsAI currently supports the plants
- Corn
- Wheat
- Tomato
- Soy beans
- Rice
Will CropsAI support more plants?
Yes, CropsAI is continuously being developed. Our users can make wishes for further plants. In the app on the home screen you can click the button "Propose new plant" or in the menu the button "Extend CropsAI".
How can I contribute to improving?
Our team needs high quality training data for making CropsAI better recognize plant diseases. In other words, we need lots of pictures of infected plant leaves. For this, we have included the "Contribute"-Feature in the app. Our users can contribute significantly to improving disease detection. In the contribute feature, photos of infested plant leaves can get recorded and stored/uploaded to the CropsAI server. Those then get reviewed by our experts. After our algorithms have been improved, CropsAI works more reliable.
